Chaos and a burning car after an accident on I-75 in the Miami area.

The accident caused long delays, panic among drivers, and intensive deployment of emergency teams.

Miami, Florida – A serious traffic accident on Interstate 75 (I-75) in southwest Miami-Dade County caused chaos , panic, and a vehicle engulfed in flames Tuesday afternoon. The incident, which involved at least three vehicles, left several people injured and paralyzed traffic in both directions for several hours.

According to a preliminary report from the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), the accident occurred shortly after 3:00 p.m. near the Miami Gardens Drive exit. Witnesses said one of the vehicles involved lost control, hit the median strip, and was struck by another speeding vehicle, causing one of the vehicles to catch fire almost immediately .

Ongoing investigation

The FHP confirmed it has launched an investigation to determine the exact causes of the accident. Speeding, distracted driving, or even mechanical failure have not been ruled out as possible factors.

Meanwhile, authorities reminded drivers of the importance of maintaining adequate distance between vehicles, obeying speed limits, and being alert to road conditions, especially in high-traffic areas like I-75.
